A Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Some afternoons you just feel lazy, like lying around just doing nothing at all. Today was that day for me. After church and lunch Granny B just took the rest of the day off. Doing nothing at all.

My mind started thinking about my sweet B who is on vacation this week in Texas. Then I just had to get up and look at some pictures. All grannies have their favorites. No matter how many time you look at them you never grow tired of seeing that sweet face.

I thought I would share some of my favorites with you. They are all pictures from B's own Aunt Sa, my youngest daughter. She is a wonderful photographer.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

Today is my 25th Wedding Anniversary. Take a look at us way back then. We look so young, and Mark has so much hair!

Today I was thinking about what a really big deal this year is for me. Earlier I hit the big one: 5-0, and have been married 25 years. I think it makes me feel even older that my daughter turns 30 this year. But the most celebrated anniversary this year is 10 CANCER FREE years! Wooooo HOOOOO!

This year seems to be packed full on special dates. And there is one more, I am getting my 1st grandson later this summer!

I have been invited to speak at the IIA symposium in Washington DC. IIA (Interned Innovation Alliance) a broad-based coalition of business and non-profit organizations that aims have every American broadband Internet.

New Design

New Fabrics

New fabrics are arriving and I'm slowly running out of room. So, I guess that means I need to get to work making new dresses. I love to see that brown truck stop in front of my house. He always brings me the best packages. I have a serious fabric obsession. There I admitted it!

I have so many ideas for the fall. I love all the colors and cannot wait to get started working on the fabrics.

I am working on a new line for Granny B's. It will be added to the website soon. It is called Butterbean Apron Co. You will find aprons for trendy moms and their little butterbeans as well. I just love aprons, they remind me of my grandmother. She always wore an apron and always had a pocket full of surprises.
